A free speech wall put up by Queen’s Students for Liberty at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, was taken down. The University had campus security remove the wall, alleging hateful speech and racial slurs had been written on the wall.

This morning the Supreme Court of Canada (SCC) released its decision on the case of the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission v. William Whatcott. The ruling is considered to be a landmark decision for free expression in Canada, impacting the interpretation and strength of hate speech legislation in the country. CJFE was one of 20 intervenors on the case.
