Every week, our supporters give us reason to celebrate yet another milestone in our crowdfunding campaign for the Review of Free Expression in Canada, and today is no exception. Thanks to your efforts, CJFE has raised over $4,000 in donations! That means we have jumped by more than $1,300 since last week’s update! We’re overjoyed by the amount of enthusiasm our campaign has received. Every donation brings us a step closer to our $5,000 goal, so please keep sharing the link to our crowdfunding page (http://bit.ly/1c1QPWA) and tweet #CJFEreview to spread the word about the only publication of its kind in Canada. Published annually on World Press Freedom Day (May 3), the Review of Free Expression in Canada represents the sum of CJFE’s ongoing efforts to monitor and report on the state of free expression across the country. The Review looks back at the nation’s most pressing free expression issues from the past year. Containing topical feature articles, insightful statistics, and balanced analysis from leading figures in law, journalism, advocacy and academia, this unique publication provides a comprehensive overview of noteworthy trends, triumphs, and threats affecting Canadians’ freedom of expression.
CJFE has seen the Review grow markedly in length, content, and perspectives over the years. It has come a long way since it was first published in 2010, and thanks to your ongoing generosity, this year’s Review is turning out to be the best one yet.
