CJFE produces a number of publications, including our annual Review of Free Expression in Canada. Take a look through our archive of documents, and track the state of free expression in Canada and internationally over the years.
CJFE is proud to launch our 2013-14 Review of Free Expression in Canada. Released to coincide with World Press Freedom Day (May 3), the Review contains feature articles written by leading experts in some of the most pressing areas of free expression.
As part of a national consultation by the Office of the Information Commissioner, CJFE has put together a report of recommendations for reform of Canada’s 30 year-old access to information law.
This year's Gala publication highlights important stories that we wouldn't know if it weren't for courageous journalism. The publication features each of our award winners, and puts a spotlight on stories that could have harmed the public if they were not exposed.
What you don't know CAN hurt you.
In collaboration with other organizations across Canada, CJFE has contributed to creating a submission for Canada's appearance at the UN's Universal Periodic Review, where the country's human rights record will be evaluated.
